The more suitable reaction conditions for Synthesis 2 are: Verbenone 13.3 mmol, 1e10.32 g (40 mmol, calculated as KMnO4), 91% AcOH 50 mL, react at room temperature for 2 h, the conversion rate is 100%, and the selectivity is 81.04% .
